Feb 12th, 2 weeks are the Abdominal drain I was back in ER this Monday to get it drained again. This time it was only 5.550 liters. Still a lot for what they say. Like last time after the drain I was in a little pain and uncomfortable. ER said they would reach out to see about getting Dr. Pow’s office to move on the paperwork so I can plan my drain visits and not have to be at the ER for 7 hours. This time the pain was worse and I am thinking because I have not had any chemo for a month. I was not able to get to sleep tonight and tried to take 2 of my pain killers to see if that helps. At this time it seems to have helped and I will need to do it again to see if it is a down time for the pain or if it is the painkillers. They are only 325 mg/per, so two of them are only 650 mg’s. I have extra pills as I was able to not take them for a while, but I will need to get a refill soon. Neuropathy is still a problem and so I am not sure if it will ever go away.
Happy Valentine’s day everyone. At the cost of going out we normally don’t make plans on this day. I hope that everyone that does celebrate out has a very enjoyable evening.
We are planning on seeing a hockey game live to check off another bucket list on Saturday. Was planning on trying to see some family earlier that day as they live close to my friend Jeff that will drive us to San Diego to see the game after Leanne and I get to his house. This will all depend on how I am feeling as I was thinking the cancer was not going to kick in like it did so fast. We almost got plane tickets to Oregon to visit some family and at this time I am glad we didn’t get them as I don’t think I would be able to make the flight. We also had a big worry about getting sick on the flight even with a mask on.
I was able to get out for a short time yesterday to visit some friends at Crown Valley Park. Jeff and Kaori. Was nice to catch up and see them. It had been over 4 years since I saw Jeff last. Time flies so fast.
