I have been so lucky in my life and have so many friends that care so much for me. The past weekend I had some visits and even if I am not feeling great it always feels good to spend time with my friends.

Not sure about the new chemo and how well it is working. Just got it again Wed. Nice to get it done in one day and not needing to carry the pump around for 2 days. I am still needing to get drained about every 12 days. After a drain the first couple of days is kind of hard as I feel all my internals trying to get back to place, but after that it feels so much better.

I got a new palliative nurse and she dropped by this week. She had some good news that they have some medicine that might help with the neuropathy. If that works it will be a great relief. It is strange that it took 7 months for someone to tell me that they can help with this problem. Very sad, but glad to hear there is a little hope on this. It will be so nice to be able to use my hands again.

Also had a meeting with the COH dietitian and got a lot of good information from her. Right now with my weight loss the most important thing is to eat as much as I can and lots of protein as the chemo loves to eat as much muscle as I can supply it. So more protein and build back some muscle to try my best to stay healthy. Staying healthy is the most important thing I can do to battle it right now. Not so easy with cancer and chemo that makes it hard to eat anything sometimes and as much as I need other times. But I do my best and also try to get some exercise and walk each day.
