This past week I was feeling much better and I was able to get some yard work done and move around more. Starting chemo and feeling the cold liquid move into my chest through the Chemo Port. This is not the fun part and so for the next couple days I will not be posting.
This past week I had a chance to see a couple of friends that I have not seen in awhile. It is nice to see your friends doing so well and enjoying life. One of my dear friends Eric was telling me that his cousin discovered they have throat cancer. Please add her to your prayers. Her name is Susan, she is a good person and I hope for a long happy life for her. I have to tell you that Eric’s full family are just all amazing people and have brought so much growth and happiness to my life.
Another friend that dropped by that had moved out of state just recently was working out here and was able to drop by. He got us lunch and also a cake for a late birthday singing and wishes.
The symptoms always change. My hands and tongue are not as sensitive to cold anymore. Yeah. My feet still hurt and it is not fun to stand or walk. I didn’t need to take as much of the meds the last couple of days. I am sure I will this week again, but that is a great sign of feeling better over all.
Life is good and enjoy the time you have with friends and family. Don’t let the little things get to you and keep you from having them in your life.
